Recap from Wednesday, July 8th

We had a wonderful turn out this evening with 29 kids! 

The evening began with all the kids gathering in the sanctuary and having a brief introduction of our Bible Idol Contestants and then they broke into 3 small groups to visit 3 different stations.

Station 1 was Music.  The kids  had a great time singing songs and even dancing!

Station 2 was the craft station.  The kids decorated guitars.  There were some pretty great designs out there this evening. 

 

The 3rd station was where the kids learned about today’s lesson.  They even had a special visitor to help them learn about the 10 Commandments.  Moses! Be sure to ask your child about what they learned this evening.

After the groups completed all 3 of the stations they were gathered back in the sanctuary to watch the 2009 Bible Idol Contestants perform.  The crowd seemed to enjoy the performances, but the judges shared some harsh words.  The judges seemed to be looking beyond the performance – I wonder what they are looking for?
