Family Fun Night

The Youth Group hosted a fundraiser at the church on Sunday, August 30th.  There was a great turn out with great food and company.

The Games:

 

The Silent Auction:

Several items were up for auction.  Who wouldn’t want a dozen cookies each month for an entire year?  The youth group was also auctioning off yard work!  Stay tuned to see who the lucky winners are.

The Food:

Everyone made their own pizza on a tortilla.  After your pizza was loaded with all of your favorite fixings it was baked.  There was also salad, chips and lots of dessert.

Family Game Night 2009

What: 

A night sponsored by the Deer Park Grace United Methodist Church Youth Group.  You, your family and friends can come and have a fun, relaxed evening without any worries.

Games for all ages will be available along with pizza, popcorn, drinks and movies.

When:

Sunday, August 30, 2009 @ 6:00 p.m. at Deer Park Grace UMC

Cost:

Adults (12+) = $4.00

Kids (under 12) = $2.00

Family of 4 = $10.00 (plus $1.00 for each additional person)

Tickets are available to buy from any Youth Group member.

Wednesday Night Recap (in pictures)

Here are some pictures from this past week at Bible School.  Be sure to vote for your favorite contestant on the upper right hand side of the page.  The race is close and every vote counts.

Last week Wally Winner did not impress the judges or the audience.  He got a little creative and hired some back-up dancers in hopes of catching some attention.  Will his approach pay off?

Fannie Flirt was a favorite last week by the crowd.  She brought out her guitar this week and rocked out with the crowd.  Can she managed to hold on to her lead?

 

Shirley Shopper came to the stage with another solid performance.  Can she gain enough of your votes to take home the title of Bible Idol 2009?

Our contestants seem to be growing on our judges.  Can the continue to charm them? 

The competition is getting tight and every vote counts.  Remember you can vote online and you can also earn extra votes by attending Wednesday nights, bringing friends, and/or bringing a bible.
